“I Have A Dream” Speech Word Cloud

Data Notes

The data from this visualization comes from the words in Martin Luther King Jr’s “I Have A Dream” speech. The transcript of the speech was found on the Huffington Post’s website. I then moved the transcript into excel where I cleaned and ordered it.

After I completed this process, I moved it into Tableau. I used the “Packed Bubbles” visualization type and then changed the shape type to text. I then removed some of the most common words such as “the”, “a”, and “and”. If you would like to see a version of this visualization with those words included you can find it here.
